The weather turned mild here in beautiful Ottawa, it caused an immense fog to envelope the city. I took this shot on the bridge overlooking the Rideau Canal. When frozen the canal becomes the worlds largest skating rink, but the mild weather melted the ice that had previously formed on the canal, there is just wet snow there in this shot.
In the background you can see the Parliaments Buildings to the left and the Chateau Laurier on the right. I was surprised to see that the Christmas lights were still up around the canal.
I fiddled around with different settings in the dark, I thought this pic best captured what I saw from that location that night.
not only do i get to see nice things by viewing your work, but i also learn a lot.
great shot! its pretty gross looking here now after that mild weather haha

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
